Description
The project activities took place during the 2018-2019 academic year. The themes of the training provided during the year were related to seeking employment, entrepreneurship, networking, and management and working mentality in Finnish communities. Students received guidance in creating a CV, making a video CV or creating a LinkedIn profile. Participants of the mentoring course had their coaches, with whom the students met monthly and evaluated their progress. Students gained new skills through work on some projects – e.g., they have organized various events, created magazines and blogs, participated in out-of-school events and visited different institutions, e.g., companies or Parliament. All activities were done in Finnish what was an important aspect of the project – to improve their Finnish language communication skills.
