Description:
Social Impact Award runs education and incubation programs to support early-stage social entrepreneurs in developing and implementing innovative business solutions that tackle important societal challenges. They host events and organize workshops to raise awareness about social entrepreneurship and teach young people the necessary skills to navigate them from intentions to promising ventures. „Dream big, work hard” is their motto. The program each year consist of the following phases:
EDUCATION: Young people learn how to recognize a good idea, create a business model and introduce tools to run a socially beneficial business idea.
INCUBATION: The best projects developed in the first phase – “finalists” – get provided several months incubation program full of workshops, consultations, workspace, and networking opportunities and mentoring who can provide feedback, support and move their business forward.
AWARD: Jury select the most promising ideas and those will be awarded „Social Impact Award“ – not only recognition but also financial contribution to develop their ideas more.
