Welcome
The module aims to present a variety of good practices and activities implemented by youth associations*, NGOs and other institutions in the various EU countries in the field of support of the integration of young people in the labor market.
Youth organizations and youth workers have the potential to foster young people’s employability and entrepreneurship**. Some organizations around Europe already implement various activities and projects focused on those issues. Therefore, in Module 2, you will learn about various good practices, examples of youth work initiatives, activities and projects. You have an opportunity to get information and inspiration and use some of those practices in your organization. Regarding the number of good practices, we explored many of them, but have chosen only a few for each unit that are different from each other and in some sense innovative to keep the length of the Module convenient. You will also find links to external materials developed by those good practices or projects and examples of how you can adapt presented practices into your local realities.
*Youth associations are generally understood to be youth-led, non-profit, voluntary non-governmental associations, and under some circumstances, can instead be part of the state apparatus or be youth worker-led.
**Entrepreneurship is the activity of setting up a business or businesses, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit.
