Unit 1.2. – Youth organisations and labour market

In this section, we present you a selection of youth organizations dealing with the market labour framework within the four project partner countries: MALTA, ITALY, GREECE and SLOVAKIA.

YouthPortal

We explored the YOUTH Portal looking for organisations that deal with the labour market  framework in the four above mentioned  countries. Within the portal, in the section presenting the registered organizations you have two criteria of selection: country and scope.

The “scope” section has four options: any; volunteering; jobs; traineeship.  We selected organizations that have previous experience on job and traineeship activities.

You can do the same in your country.

Glossary in pills

Traineeship is differently regulated by the law in different countries. In Italy, just as an example “several definitions and typologies of traineeships are provided by law. While “Curricular traineeship” is part of formal curricula of Education and Training, non curricular-traineeship is an active policy measure aimed  at enabling an individual to make a practical work experience in order to  get professional skills, improving its employability and enrich his curriculum. In addition to that, special categories of traineeships are ruled by national law to access specific professions. Explore the EURES Portal to find more.
